Kindness and expertise

This is a surgeon who looks at surgery as last option and does the work to support you through other options. On surgery he is the best. When my partner had a horrific fall down concrete steps Dr Magur did an emergency surgery with multiple areas repaired and using multiple modalities. The aftercare was extraordinary in not only expertise but empathy during the multi month surgery recovery before PT was even possible. The best.

Orthapedic doctors are known to be among the most arrogant humans on the planet. Dr. Melvin is clearly an exception. He took his time with me, he listened to me, he took his eyes off the computer screen to look at me, he was thorough in his examination of my hip, and patiently explained a plan of treatment. I felt like a human. I left his exam room convinced that I am in very good hands.

He is committed to paying scrupulous attention to your scans. He checked my carpal anatomy and found something wrong; he found an increased distance between my scaphoid bone and my lunate bone. I had a surgery gone wrong, and he revised it. What a wonderful eye for perfection he has trained! If you ever read this Dr. Moss, please continue operating as much as you please. You are excellent and there are many wrists out there that could use your attention. There's also plenty dumb snowboarders. I'm being way more careful in my life.

Dr. Patel is an excellent orthopedic surgeon!!! He is a great diagnostician; and he explained clearly why I needed my triple cervical fusion. I have had an outstanding recovery from the surgery on 9/14/23! My son said in looking at my hardware that Dr. Patel did a work of art! Other doctors that recommended him said that same thing in that Dr. Patel is the best surgeon and most experienced in the cervical spine and any other spinal surgeries needed. I am so grateful for his fixing my aging body and restoring me to health. His Medical Assistant, Ms. Yarden is awesome, responsive, and competent; and she answered all of my questions and helped with all of the surgery scheduling and insurance coordination and approval. I am also so grateful to her for all that she has done for me. My husband is also so grateful to Dr. Patel and to Yarden. If there were 10 stars, I would give them a 10.

Dr. Patel performed surgery on my back 14 years ago and did a fantastic job which allowed me to live a normal life. I returned for a checkup and evaluation of a bone scan and some x-rays since I value his opinion very highly.

Dr. Rudzki treated my mother after a leg fracture. He quickly put her at ease. He carefully listened to everything she wanted to share. Then he explained her situation in very simple and clear terms.
